2019 Chevrolet Traverse & 2019 Ford Explorer Warranty Coverage

Comparing warranties of these two competitors, we did find one small but significant difference. Both Chevrolet and Ford offer New Vehicle Warranties for 36 months/36,000 miles, Powertrain Warranties for 60 months/60,000 miles and Roadside Assistance for 60 months/60,000 miles. The difference is in the Corrosion Perforation, or Rust-Through Warranties. 2019 Chevrolet Traverse & 2019 Ford Explorer: Fuel Efficiency

As far as EPA Miles Per Gallon (MPG) ratings are concerned, Traverse comes out on top here, too. Comparing the standard engines for each, the Traverse’s 3.6L V6 gets 18 MPG in the city and 27 MPG driving on the highway. The Ford standard 3.5L engine gets gas mileage of only 17 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway. If you do any amount of highway driving this 3 MPG will soon add up to more cash in your pocket.

Thanks, Traverse.

And the Traverse 3.6L V6 engine powers up 310 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. The standard Ford Explorer 3.5L V6 only manages 290 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque.
